# youdeliver.org: a pixel from the Million Dollar Homepage

> youdeliver.org holds a 40×10 block of 400 pixels at x 770, y 660 on The Million Dollar Homepage, the most famous ad page in internet history.

## The story

In 2005, a 21-year-old student named Alex Tew sold a million pixels for $1 each, in blocks of 10 × 10, to pay for university. The page sold out within months and became part of internet history. The Million Dollar Homepage is still online at https://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/

Someone paid $400 for this block and linked it to youdeliver.org, with this line:

> “Your next two clicks could help feed someone”

That site went offline long ago. An archived copy from 2011 is on the Wayback Machine: http://web.archive.org/web/20110511225130/http://www.youdeliver.org/go/mdhp.html

## The pixel has a new keeper

Tunahan Aktay, an indie iOS developer in Istanbul, gave this block a home again. He builds small, polished apps for iPhone: https://tunahanaktay.com/
